MinnKota, What to do?

My MinnKota Genesis has a problem and the factory authorized repair shops in Montecello and Batavia Oh. wont touch it.
They had a trade in policy for awhile I now find out about but MinnKota tell's me no way. I should of found out on the internet! HUH!
They did send me a new foot pedal under warranty with no problems, it's not like they did'nt know who own'ed their motors.
This motor has to be truck shipped, to big and heavy for UPS.
Do I ship it back to the factory for repair, or bite the bullet and buy a new motor. 24v 60inch shaft with auto pilot. $1200 plus.

Are you sure UPS won't ship it? They take stuff up to 150 pounds. You could also try Fed Ex or DHL.

I'd definitely go that route and get it fixed rather than spend $1,200 for a new one. I'm cheap though.... LOL!
