Go the the "User CP" select options and set it to display all threads

Default Thread Age Cut OffYou may specify a time period from which to display threads. Threads older than the age you specify will not be shown. Use Forum Default Show threads from last day Show threads from last 2 days Show threads from last week Show threads from last 10 days Show threads from last 2 weeks Show threads from last month Show threads from last 45 days Show threads from last 2 months Show threads from last 75 days Show threads from last 100 days Show threads from last year Show all threads Default Thread Age Cut Off: == set this to all threads or whatever the most is.

I have placed instructions all over the site. Please read them and then let us know what you think.

You HAVE TO GO INTO the user control panel (UserCP) top left area of screen and make some settings which will affect how posts are displayed, time zone and other things. This is important.

With a little time spent playing around with the settings and the many buttons I think you will find this board far superior to the old ones.

I don't like changes either but sometimes it just has to be done and no way to avoid it. Good luck and I hope after spending some time here you "like" this site.

Man, this site has so many more options. You just need to play around for a while and see. I think it is great!!

I just went into the UserCP and then Edit Options. If you scroll all the way to the bottom, you can choose a new forum skin. I chose VB36 Original and it really displays the board a lot better for me.

To each his own, fishrgurl--I tried that one and definately do not like it. The default forum is much closer to the old board and I am comfortable with that.

The real thing is, everyone should play around with the different options and see what they like. That is why there are different options.

The default setting is too narrow for my tastes. You don't get enough posts on one page and not enough screen real estate is utilized in my opinion. Everything is crammed down the center. It's still a big improvement from the old board, though.

This new skin that I chose is similar to other boards that I'm used to, but I agree that everyone should customize to their own tastes.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but I turned off the option to view the forum with a different skin. The other skin does not display the ads on the forum.
