The newer Navionics Hotmaps cards will work. Go to Navionics' web site and you'll find a compatibility marix. The Hotspot maps are probably the best for fishing as they have bottom contours and so forth just like the paper maps.
but, beware if you go back in bays or far in creeks, navionics don't have detail.
I bought navionics because of the high definition maps for some lakes in the 2007 hotmaps premum east. where data is available it is great, but I was a little dissappointed in the bays on barkley that had no (zero) depth info for them. Now the maps for other lakes that weren't in HD, were 5 foot contours and pretty decent.
One other word of caution is if you want to look at the maps on a computer, in order to do that with navionics, you have to pay an additional 129.00 to get a special card reader and software due to their chip being encrypted.
Depending on what you want out of it, it may be decided between navionics and lowrance hot spots maps.
The Hot Spots chip has all the bays just not 1' increments.
