You would most likely have to go to the Blue Grass area or west Ky to find a similar lake depth wise. What can you expect. The BASS was there in 2001. They had 673 , 5 bass limits . They had a total of 3,896 bass caught for a total weight of 5671 lbs. It was the biggest 5 bass limit tournamnet ever and the second ever for most bass caught. It is a fish factory that draws more fishing pressure than any lake in East tennessee and still produces numbers and size bass that will really get your blood boiling. By East tennessee standards it is shallow with maximum depth only about 130 feet. It has many major creeks some of which drain from the Smokey Mountains. There are three rivers. The main is the French Broad out of NC along with the Nolachucky and the Pigeon. Fish2win

It is absolutely nothing like dale hollow. It's a largemouth lake.... very few smallies and I don't think I've ever caught a spot in it... Lot's of small fish, weigh ins take forever because everybody catches a limit of 12" fish at worst... Gotta find the big fish to win the $$$$$

Nothing like Dale! It has flat clay/gravel banks for the most part. Water stays stained. Kinda comparable to taylorsville but with fish! Most of your bigger fish will be found on off shore structure. Lots of presure but some good fishing.

that's good i hate fishin close to the bank, all i need to is worry about qualifing, have any of you fished this circuit, i couldn't find anything on the classic payout other than the first place boat and the boat bonuses added to the place finishes.
