My name is Douglas and I am a lake enthusiast/homeowner on Lake Hartwell in Georgia. I recently launched a FREE online service called LakeLevelAlert.com at http://lakelevelalert.com that monitors lake levels for 34 lakes in the U.S. currently. The service alerts registered users via email when lake levels rise to or fall to levels specified by the user.
The site was originally designed to help lake homeowners know when to move their docks and boats in or out to avoid groundings/ submersions or damage as a result of changing lake levels. Then a large faction of fishing guides and fishermen began creating alerts to tell them when certain creeks and channels on various lakes were usable or not. There have been many creative folks who now use the service and I hope many of you will check it out at http://lakelevelalert.com as well. Again, it is FREE for everyone to use so please enjoy the benefits and tell your friends.
Thanks Douglas, I'll check it out.
Justed signed up this will be helpful info.
Thanks
By the way Dale Hollow wasn't on his list, so I e-mailed him and he immedietly added it. It's great when people do what they say they will. Maybe he could add Barren,Green, Rough, Nolin ?
Phoenix,
Per your request, I have added the Barren,Green, Rough, Nolin to http://lakelevelalert.com. You can now create alerts for those lakes.
Thanks for helping me spread the word.
