Can't take the cold, Im going to Florida!!

Well this cold is just too much to bare so I'm loading up the boat and truck and some guys are heading down to florida to do some bass and spec fishing. Going to lake walk in water, and crooked lake. Last year I got me a 9.25 but I still need that double digit bass-tard. Anyway my wife is not happy with my decision because she is due with our third child in 3 weeks. I dont see the problem do you? If she goes into labor I can PROBABLY get a flight back in time. Oh well I gotta get some fishing in because when that third kid gets here I might not get to fish much this spring. Think of me the next 5 or 6 days while your freezing your nads off and cross your fingers I don't have to cut my trip short. My wife said I'm a selfish bass@#$%. She loves mre thoughas I do her.

Me either, we are headed down to Guntersville in 3 weeks, and according to people i have been talking to, we should hit it just right. Weather should be 55-60. And like you, we are having are third child march 13th.Good luck.

I'm going to Kissimmee Feb 15th, someone told me Walk-N-Water was messed up or somthing. I love to fish this lake do you know if they have done somthing to mess up the fishin on this lake or do I have some wrong info?
Any reports when you get back would sho be appreciated.

I heard 2 different reports about Walk-N-Water. I person told me that you couldn't hardly even get a boat in it was so shallow, the second told me that the first was telling me a fib because they were catching a bunch of fish there. I didn't personally go over there, but that was the stories I got.

good luck! wish i was going with you. about the wife......she'll never get over it. I took a 4 day trip to Lake Fork in 98 while my wife was 7 months pregnant and she still hasn't let me forget it.
