With the current problem on Cland, I am curious as to the funds that will go to the strurgeon effort? Just a question? Since all of the fishermen that buy a fishing license will pay for that project. What will it cost?

Called yesterday, they said a non-resident liscence would be same as last year. Resident liscences will be of 2 types this year.

Type1, for those who Fish Cumbeland less than half the time, cost of liscense will be same as last year.

Type 2, for those who fish Cumberland more than half the time, cost will be $126,375.50. They offer payment terms, and you can finance up to 30 years at 4.9%. If the cost to fix the dam escalates, the interest rate on the liscense loan goes up.

Actually, I don't think the state can collect more for dam repairs on a state liscense fee, as the dam is Federally owned and funded, and the cost to repair and maintain is a federal cost. State might charge more if they want to pay for Surgeons, but I don't know what they cost per inch
