    cedar creek froze

    drove across the dam at cedar creek today.lots of ice.i dont think it froze over last year..

    I don't think we had 2 weeks straight of below 32deg weather, last year, either !! Another month of this weather, and you'll see ice shanties out on the lake .... LOL!! I don't think it will hurt the fish ... but, I'd love to see it cause a massive Shad Kill !! .......... cp

    Im ready for one of them shanties right now. Been at least three weeks or more for me, But John at Backwaters likes to see me come in every friday to get my bait and tying supplies fix, I could hang out in the store seven days a week, I should do my fly tying and jig making in there, beats trying to keep the kids out of the duck feather. lol
