yamaha 150 v max engine

i am looking at a 2001 model boat with a 2001 model yamaha 150 v max engine.the owner purchased the boat new.he has never had an engine problem.he dosent know the actual hours on the engine but he is being honest with me telling me he is a tournament fisherman that fishes the tenn. river system and sometimes he will run 2 hours one way to his fishing hole.he averages about 10 tournaments a year.i am just wandering if this is high hours on a engine.or am i getting ready to buy something that is about to give me trouble.the compression on this engine is still very strong.any advice or help you can give me i thank you very much!!!

come on guys i know there are a lot of hardcore fisherman that fishes a lot and puts a lot of hours on your engine.i just want your honest opinions. thanks
