    Trolling motor prop?

    Need to replace my prop. I have a minn kota 65 AT. All i see is one nut to take off, so i tried that and the prop still did not come off. Before i mess anything up. Could someone please enlighten me?

    Just one nut tap it, it should come off.

    That one nut is it, but they can be hard to get off. Try tapping it with a mallet. Be careful not to bend the shaft though.

    It's best to take your prop off of your trolling motor once or twice per year just to keep it from getting stuck like that.

    I replaced my weedless wedge 2 with one of these and was amazed at how much smoother my TM ran. No herky jerky just smooth clean acceleration. No problems in weeds either. Highly recommended.

    replace the shear pin if you hit something hard ,it bends and that's why it's hard to remove.

    I'm right there w/ you on the Kippawa prop. You have to watch as factory will not warranty if you use this prop, but it is the finest prop on the market IMO. They are pitched more and reportedly will run as fast at 1/2 speed as you normally do wide open. This related into less battery amperage draw. They will also increase control and make for smoother turning. Just a thought, but great props!
