    Dale Hollow takes a Hit major

    Word is out to dock owners Now Dale Hollow will be held 4 foot above summer pool, to accomodate the downstream lowland flooding. For 07

    I already know of several campgrounds that wont survive this issue as well as some areas you acess down by he lake, due to the high water.

    The dam issue is so huge!

    Dale will now have Cumberland Lakes regatta of cruisers adding to every foot operator's worst night mare,

    Why would they need to hold Dale higher than normal. The river is going to be way down anyways. It was a couple of feet above summer pool when we were there in July last year and it didn't seem to be a problem.

    Do you mind telling where you got this information, I haven't heard this and I have a friend that lives on the lake and keeps pretty close tabs on things?

    info came from wolf river dock, the dock ownner had already shot and marked the elevation and extended his walk ways (built new extenison),
    made ready his guard house for the camp ground and ice machine etc to move to higher ground.

    this came from a dock ownners meeting the day or 2 before with the core.

    on or about this week past. I was there and saw the work being done.
    I was explained the reason so that might be off, but the actual work was being doen while i was there, they dont go to that much effort for rummors

    I agree, they don't spend money needlessly. Well, there goes our Houseboat beaches for another year. Maybe it'll help the spawn though, and spring fishin should be good, I like it up in the bushes during spawn. Crazy aint it, C-land going dry and Dale Hollow flooding !!!!!!!!

    Hey Opie13;
    Maybe they are talkin about the downstream flooding from when the W. R. Dam breaks !( I know I shouldn't kid about this), couldn't help myself!
