Info on Lake Shelby??

Has anyone done any good on this lake? It's the one adjacent to Clear Creek Park in Shelbyville, not Guist. I went up there last Fall (didn't take my pole..... duh) and walked down one of the trails that runs alongside the lake. I was surprised that the lake was a lot bigger than I thought. They have a ramp and there are restrictions, as far as boats go, I was just curious if this was a "hidden treasure" or just another mud cat hole?

Lake Shelby is a little better than a mud cat hole, but just like any other lake, timing is everything. The lake itself is not very deep or very big. The creek (Clear Creek) that is upstream has some decent water in it. Crappie in late March early April can be pretty good up the creek. Largemouth bite can be good at times too.
