Ky Lake Houseboat rentals/Dave Stewart

Just wondering if any of you have rented a houseboat on KY before. Going to be renting one from May 7th-11th and wanted to see if I could get any feedback about either of the two places that rent them. It seems that only Green Turtle Bay and KY dam marina rent them. I figured that there would be more choices. If anybody knows of others or has had any experience with those two, I'd appreciate comments, opinions, and suggestions. Also wondering if Mr. Stewart's services are open for any of these dates. Any and all help appreciated. CJ

Moors Marina is another one you should look in to....

Kentucky Dam Marina has the best boats......and the best service....I have a pontoon boat at the marina and am also good friends with the owners. My sister used to work there as well during the summers loading and unloading rental boaters and helping them out in any way possible. They really are first class at Kentucky Dam Marina. My family and I have been renting for eleven years up to three times a year when the kids weren't so spread out. Green turtle Bay have always had the best price and when we have had a problem they were very quick to respond. One word to you is ask questions on where to anchor and HOW to drop and retrieve the anchor. Ky lake can get really hairy Quick so plan accordingly . Great place ,People hope you and yours have a great, safe trip...Lake Shelbyville in Illinois Lithia Springs Marina is also excellent.

You can call me this morning if you see this message. I will be here until sometime this later this morning. I will be gone from then until sometime Sunday as I am taking my wife out for the weekend. You can call me Sunday night or after that the best time to call me is in the evenings between 6 and 8 pm central time. Don't wait too long to call me if you want that date...I don't have many days left for the spring and they won't last long.
