Hello Fellow fishermen/women,
I curretnly have a manual 10" jack plate on my boat, however I am looking into getting a hydraulic one. Seems as though tuning it in to keep the prop in clean water would be a helluva a lot easier. Anyhow does anyone have any sugesstions on a manufacturer and a model? Please give your goodand bad
points also.
Thanks much,
Marty![]()

I think the Bob's is better. I have sold and used both brands but the Bob's seems to last better. I wouldn't spend the money if you are buying it as a tuning aid as all the Z boats we have sold all seem to run better at about the same height, i.e. 2 inches above the bottom setting.
Bill
I'm with bill, buy a bob's. I have the one that the pump is in the boat. I like it better than the pump on the outside. I had a slight problem with the gauge, and they took care of it right away and even out of warranty. You won't be sorry.
Get a Bob's.
