help me out yall, give me some feedback here.
I'd start out fishing about 5' deep and adjust approx. a ft every few cast till you locate the right depth. I fish for crappie all winter long and the depth depends on the day. As for minnows or jigs that's up to you either one will work at the correct spot & time.
Nolin is a pretty long lake, with a lot of different species in it. I've heard that the tailwaters of Long Fall and Conoloway Creeks are good for crappie. Good Luck!
I would try finding some laydowns on channel banks.
I asked the same question last week about Rough River and got a very detailed response that I thought was great from Moose1am on the Indiana discussion board. Check it out for a little more info. We ended up not going because the weather last Saturday was so nasty.
