Good....at least he is going to enjoy it. I always say that if I hit it, my wife won't see me because I will be fishing or hunting everyday. I really hate the people that win and say "I'm going to keep working". They should automatically take the big check away for saying that.

I would do three things right off the bat if I won the lottery .
1. Brand new fully rigged boat with anything and everything
2. Change my legal name and get in as many tours and tournaments I could (preferably changed to Bluff Rockcut)
3. Open a tackleshop and retire at age 24.

I would live on the water. I would buy me about 1000 acres somewhere all wooded and put me the biggest lake I could on it and stock it with them good ole fish with them bucket mouths. Could ya imagine boys having the money to say well hell I think I will fly to anywhere in the world and catch me a fish. Now that would be the life. Nuthin but fishin.

With that kind of money I could see at least four boats for me: The best Ranger built, the fastest Air boat available for my times in Florida, the best saltwater flats boat built and a huge offshore boat for my blue water fix!

It almost seems unethical to keep working if you're that rich. Somebody else might really NEED that job to support their family. Besides, you need to keep busy, and what better way than evaluating and reporting the status of the local watershed, and supporting your local bait shops, marinas, and boat dealerships? In a way, rich people have a moral obligation to fish!
