Cloverport

I've been told that Cloverport is a great place to fish for crappie? I've never fihed there but drove over the bridge by the boat ramp last Sat. morning. Someone must be catching something b/c several trailers in the parking lot. How far is the ramp from the Ohio river and which way is the Ohio back under the bridge or way from the bridge? Which way is the best crappie fishing? I was told you can catch 14" crappie there! Is this true???

If your standing on the ramp its left to the river opposite the bridge
but your pretty far i would guess 2 miles or more to the mouth
and Ive never fished the river this early in the spring but my great uncle
slays the big ones on ocasion good luck and post your results........
