Heading to KY lake Friday morning for the first time since October. Putting in @ Moors and fishing mid lake, mostly LBL side. Anyone know the conditions or what's going on down there. Looks like a cold front is coming. Just my luck after 2 weeks of warm stable weather. Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks. KTB

If the wind forecast of 16 mph (add some more because you are on the lake) from the North holds...take care on the main lake...it will be nasty.
Dave
Can you give me some general info as to the conditions and what's going on down there. Just gonna spend a couple of days having fun. My 21 footer handles the big water pretty well but you can never be too safe. Thanks for the help Dave.
The water is warming some and wet. It will be nasty as you have a weekend to go fishing, take the raingear, the water could be clear in some places stained in some muddy in others,LOL LOL LOL. Really havent heard many reports yet form that way but Rough is heating up some and so is Barren. Good luck, the batterys work great but my aerator is out now, but I did not break my light pole because of it, not gone Ike yet. See ya
My full report will be up tonight but basically the water temps are up to the low 50's in the mornings now. Better bite this week has been on lipped crankbaits on the main lake and lipless crankbaits back shallow in the bays. The jerkbait has been so so this week but I expect we will see that bite pick back up shortly.
The wind forecast for tomorrow (Friday) is now North at 15-25. 21 ft boat or not...you better hideout in a creek or bay somewhere if that comes to pass...I would hate to be reading about you like the guys I read about two weeks ago that thought they could brave a north wind like that down here. They still have not found one of them as far as I know.
