White Bass Run (French Broad)

Is anybody catching Strips? Heard they were catching lots at Walter's Bridge and a few at the trussel. Thought about going next weekend. Would this be too late or early? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

According to the Creel Clerk Don Seals . They are just starting there move into the lake . and some Saugers .. YANK

So they are just starting to run from the lake up the French Broad.

I just came from the Leadvale area.The white bass were hitting good,i caught my limit Friday, Saturday and Today.
I think now is a good time.It seems to bo early this year.

me and the wife just back from the leadville tressel. we got are limit today and yesterday. we were fishing form are poytoon using pink popeye jigs.
