Went last Thursday. Caught some crappie on the river end in about 20 ft of water casting jigs. The water was still awful dingy with the water temp being around 53.

Hey fellas, I'm hoping to get out on the water a couple of days this week. It's been forever since I've fished Taylorsville, so any help would be appreciated. I'm taking my father-in-law and we plan to fish for Bass mainly, but if the Crappie are hittin' then I'll we'll give that a shot.

Thanks for the info!!!!
Went last week as well....tried the creek channels with jigs but not much luck. Moved towards Dam and caught a few crappie in about 25 ft of water at a 14 ft depth with minnows around standing cedars in the evening. Very muddy though. My thoughts are that crappie are still deep and haven't started migrating into the creek channels yet but it won't be long. Male hormones were flaring due to lots of purple color.
Did either of you fish for Bass??
No Bass report sorry.
