Ok, everyone just wondering if you had to tie on 5 or 6 baits what what it be for spring time fishing in Kentucky. Fishing first tornament this weekend, water will be a little muddy and around 50 degrees. I know what my go to baits are but just curious what everyone else would tie on.
Lets go fishin

exact same thing as above but i have a tourny this weekend to and im going to throw a chatterbait instead of a spinnerbait jus to see if itll work
Single blade spinnerbait, jig, lipless crank, tube and a 8-12 ft diving crank for bluffs.
Jerkbait, spinnerbait, jig, crankbait, and not necessarily in that order.
Single Blade White Spinner bait, a Gold Willow # 4 blade with small Colorado blade tandem in white, Blue & Black Jig n Pig, RC5 Shad Rap and another DT 10 Tiger color Crankbait.....Plus a lipless crankbait, like a rattletrap in Chrome with a Blue Back....
Look for stained water and throw that spinnerbait like mad. If no takers try the Rat-L-Trap for aggresive fish...Then slow down and throw the RC5 and DT 10...Still no takers, try the Jig n pig combo and fish slower......
Y'all have it covered... Jigs and cranks are my 1-2 punch this time of year.
I'm going today. My go to's today are a green pumpkin jig (little chartreuse), LC RC 1.5 (green copper shad) and I'm throwing a chartreuse and white chatterbait. Might as well be dynamite this time of year.
jig, rattletrap, baby1-, jerkbait, spinnerbait, buzzbait are the baits i have on the deck. Going to try a chatterbait this spring.
