Any good striper news on Cumberland?

Planning a trip down to Cumberland this Saturday for some stripers. Anyone been lately or heard any news of what they are doing? I plan on going during the day because I'm going to Bristol on Sunday and can't fish at night this weekend. Thanks for any help in advance....

Just wondering if anyone has done any night striper fishin? If so are they up after the shad?

Talked to two friends who fished last week out of Jamestown. To say the least they wore them out with 2 over 30#. Seems like it is finally on. Good luck to all.

Stripers are doing very well, just about any way you like to catch them. Cranking at night is excellent, although I haven't caught any on top water yet. The daytime bait bite is also very good. Most everything is coming on short (8 to 15 ft.) freelines. Lots of fish in the creeks, and a few starting to show up on the main lake.
