Hybrids

I'm hooked on hybrids since catcing a few while crappie fishing. Are there any basic rules on where to find them in a lake during a certain time of year? What methods are most effective. Does anyone use planer boards for them? Which baits are recommended? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Dont do rough for hybrids sorry but if ya ever goin to herrington give me a holler. Bud and me got 30 yesterday in 90 minutes. Then started crappie fishin and had 10 nice ones. Then I heard the thunder and we hauled butt got home just as the storms hit whew.
