    Talking finally caught "THE ONE"

I caught a really nice hybrid (30" long) a couple of weeks ago & need it mounted. I'm sure you guys could give me some names & phone #'s for local taxidermist that will do a good job at a reasonable price. I've never had a fish mounted before & don't know who to call. I've done the "internet search thing" but would like to hear some opinions from some real live people. I live just outside of Berea & really would like to stay fairly close. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

There is a guy in Berea named Randy Alcorn who I would highly recommend. He has done a few fish for me and friends and let me tell you He is one of the best.

Randy Alcorn is the best in Central KY. He has mounted several fish and deer for me also. It may take awhile to get it back with as many mounts as he gets but it is well worth the wait.

I'm still looking for someone to do a fiberglass rep of a striper I caught if anyone has ideas.

30" Hybrid?? What did it weigh? Thats a pig for a Hybrid! I caught a 10 lbs Hybrid this weekend at Barren, and it was no where near that length.

    I use www.AmericanFishTaxidermy.com
Decent pricing.. can do either a real mount or a replica.. Replica's I have are as good as the real thing. Take pics, measurements and send to him..

Wasn't very fat at all, weighed right at 11. I caught much smaller fish that actually weighed more. But I have never caught one that long before. It should make a nice looking mount.

    Thanks for the info.
