This post may not be appropiate for this section, but I would like to give it a try. I have been getting 2 boats ready to sell since I bought another boat last fall to better fit my anticpated needs. Then things happen!
My stepson, Alex "Bubba" Wiesemann, was fortunately at work last Thursday at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, (he is an IT Tech) when he collapsed and we found out that he had a brain anurism. He was then flown to Vanderbilt nuro ic where he then underwent surgery and they said it was the largest anurism that they had ever encountered. He is 24 and married and was supposed to sign on his first house the next day. He came through the surgery good but it is a long slow process and he is still in the woods. The people at the Medical Center and Vanderbilt have been great, but the potential recovery time is gonna be long and expences great.
So here is the deal!
First boat is a Lowes 15' 1984 riveted john boat with galvinazed trailer, solid, no leaks, reinforced transom. Mercury 25HP/w elect.start, 1997, very little use. 2-3 times a year since about 2000, Motor guide 30lb. Foot control trolling motor, depth finder w/ speed & temp., replaced cushion Lowes seats w/ new swivels, battery, anchor and 2 life vests, new wheels and rims last summer, xtra tire. I was going to ask $1950 for this boat, but would like to take the best offer over asking price as of this Sunday at 6:00 P.M. All proceeds of this boat will go to to Alex for medical expenses. Glad to send pics.
Second boat is a 1994 Skeeter SS-90, 16.2' Bass boat, no motor. Rated for 40 to 90 Hp. Almost the same hull design as the current models. One smooth riding boat, performance hull, great shape. White with blue accents, Sharp Looking. Mostly garage kept, but does show some sun fade on seats& carpet, Dual live wells w/ auto timer, storage compartments, 18 gal. tank, Trolling and start batteries, Minn Kota 40lb. trolling motor (unused but tested), 2 depth finders available, trailer w/ alluminum steps. Asking $2750, (NADA +/- $3400). Anything over asking price goes to Alex. Glad to send pics!
Alex is not a fisherman but loves to eat fish (and about anything else).
Not asking for a handout, but asking if you could use any of these to help out by offering the most that you can.
Thanks to the board and would like to ask if this could be copied to the boat board (I don't know how).
