Heading down to CC on Sunday morning, trying to get a little info. I grew up about a mile from there (before the lake was impounded) and haven't had too many chances to get back there and fish it. The last time was way back in the fall on a freezing Nov day. What's the bite been like this year? Is the water very clear? Thanks for any help...

Got back in from CC tonight. Slow day, caught about 7 bass between the two of us. One was a chunky 3'11, which was my best fish out of the lake. I set the hook and my reel came off, had my reel in my left hand and my rod in the right hand but we still got it in.
