    Stolen fishing rods at Yatesville

At 4:45 am Sunday May 20th I had 8 rods and reels stolen from the deck of a friends boat while parked at the Exxon Station in Louisa! We were parked as close to the building as possible and only was inside for about 5 minutes. Please be on the lookout for any rods that fits these descriptions. I am estimating the value at about $2600!!!!!
    Here is the list
6 almost brand new Shimano Crucial Castings Rods---I think 4 were 6'8" Med. 2 were 6'10" MH and I had one Shimano Crucial 6'8" Spinning Rods and a Shimano Sahara Spinning Reels
    ONe other rod was a H & H Custom Carolina Special 7'2"
7 reels were the brand new Curado's!!!
All reels had the Reel Grips on them most were blue, one was yellow and the spinning reels was red/white/blue
    All in almost new condition
    My name is Mark Wenger
you can e-mail me at [email protected] or call my cell at 502-741-6822!!!

Please! Please Please help find them or help Louisa City Police find them
It took years for me to build this collection and I was finally happy to have the set of rods and reels as I had wanted them. Only took about 15 years to get to this point.

    That completely s u c k s.

I was at Yatesville this weekend, but we fished the KBFN on Sat, and left after that. Luckily, we didn't have any problems.

Any chance insurance will cover it? A friend of mine had alot of stuff stolen out of his boat, and insurance cut him a check.

Hopefully, you'll get some justice out of this.

Wasn't my boat, and it wasn't at my house. Not real sure what insurance will do right now. I fished both KBFN and KBF and it was one of my first times I have fished as a non-boaters in years----figures--doesn't it!

Mark, did you check into the existence of security cameras? Friend of mine had something similar happen and they ID'd the guy from the security cam.

I'd still go ahead and check with insurance. The worst thing they can do is tell you no. If they do tell you no, you're no worse off than what you are right now.

Any way the cops can watch pawn shops in Ashland and Huntington?

the insurance depends on the coverage the boat owner has,my uncle was in fla. and got his boat cleaned out, they priyed open the lids and made off with plenty of loomis and curados and 20 plano boxes, his insurance policy covered his partners stuff too.they did all that work and left the lms332c.
