Fished below Meldahl dam on the Ohio with a few buddies. Caught one keeper, 14" Kentucky bass, 2 smallmouth no size, 5 drum from 4-7lbs., several nice sauger. Not much current, no shad working in shallows. Tough day. Water temps were 76 degrees. All fish caught on chrome/shad colored medium diver crankbaits. Some caught on jerkbaits too. No white bass or stripers.

I'd say when it comes to large mouth just about any given day of the week is a tough day on the Ohio. The leading weight on the opening day of the BFL Walmart Tournament taking place out of Louisville was 5 fish weighing a total of 6 pounds, 11 ounces...it will be interesting to see how well they do today and Saturday since rain is in the forecast.
