Anyone have any tips on where to fish and how to fish for walleye on nolin?

I have heard through the grapevine that using "erie-deerie" style spinners tipped with night crawlers works well this time of year in the lower parts of the creeks and out on main lake points. Like Msgmills I have caught them on crank baits and curly tail jigs but mostly in the winter.
