You might try rubbing hard with some good wax. I've had the paint they use for yellow lines get on my vehicle and used wax to remove it. Good luck!

I need some help bad. On the way home from the lake last night I inadvertantly drove through a huge puddle of white latex paint some dunderhead spilled on the road. It is splattered all over my car, boat, and trailer. It comes off of the boat fairly easily, just scrape it off with my fingernail, but the trailer and car are a different story... Any idea on how to get this stuf off? I need help badly!!

Man sorry about your luck, all I know is paint thinner to remove dried paint....But might not want to do that, check with your Insurance Company and see if you can file a claim under the ( Brain Locked ) part of the Insurance that covers Deer accidents and windshields being broke....Oh yeah, comprehensive part of Insurance. Should cover the cost to clean vehicles and trailer for the cost of your deductible.
Take it up to the nearest car wash that has the high pressure wand. My wife did the same thing in her car. It all came off using the high pressure soap. It had dried on her paint as well, but came off really easy. Best of all, it only cost me 2.00.... Yay!!
Thanks for all of the tips. I have asked everyone I know, including some folks who deal with this kind of thing for a living, and have heard everything from diesel fuel to paint thinner. The cure was found at Home Depot in the form of a product called Goof-Off 2. Its a water based solvent specifically designed to dislove dried latex paint. It is a wonder product. You spray it on wait a few minutes and hit it with the pressure washer. You might need to use a little elbow grease on some of the larger blotches, but may it saved my life. The only thing that I have thought about since I realised what happened was getting that crap off of my vehicles. I only bought the boat last month and was realy concerned that I had screwed the pooch on this one. If I ever had to endorce a product it would be this. Never, and I mean NEVER have I bought a product that actually did what it claimed to do, and did it so well. Again... thanks for all of your help and advice.

Goof off will take the stripes off a coons tail....but sometimes pure ol' gasoline will clean it off but you'll need to put some wax back on your clear coat! Been there with some spray cans!!!
