I have an off day tomorow and I am planning and doing some fishing around Louisville. I'd like to catch some cats. I bought some crawlers and livers the other day and never got the chance to use them. I dont want to go too far out of Louisville, and I am really thinking about just going to Below the Falls. Does anyone know how the river is running right now? I dont like it if there is too much current. Or does anyone else have any other suggestions? Thanks for any suggestions!
Current is definitely not a problem right now. With the lack of rain, the river is fairly slack right now. If you have a boat, I would try just below the hydros at the dam. Anchor along a current edge and cast along the edge. I have not been up around the interpretive center to try the bank fishing.
