Back from vacation with my girlfriend in Ixtapa, Mexico. Wonderful place to visit and I would recommend anyone looking for a good vacation spot to check it out. First keeper was a 8'2" --100lb. sailfish. Got measurements and pictures sent to Florida to get a fiberglass replica made. Wish my computer was better equipped to download pictures so I could share them. My girlfriend caught an 85lber. and was fighting it at the same time I was hooked up. Boy did it get busy playing musical chairs between fight chairs when they decided to make a run. 2nd keeper was my girlfriend which I proposed to after 3 great yrs. together. It is very hard to find a woman that will go fishing with you every weekend, has 8 of her own rods and reels, can drive the boat, and loves looking through the Cabelas and Bass Pro Shops catalogs as much as I do. She said yes by the way!!!! Overall A great week last week and looking forward to a little walleye action at Cumberland this weekend. Good luck to all this weekend!!! Vance Monnett
Congratulations on your trip and engagement! Good luck Ryan.
Congratulations on both counts. I know I would like to have my wife go with me, but she does not like fishing so she bought me my boat and tells me to go fishing when she gets tired of me hanging around.

I have heard it said that a good fishing partner is harder to find than a good wife. It sounds like you have found a two for one deal. Congratulations and best wishes to you both.

I'll second that. Lover he to death... but I like the escape of going to the lake.
Keep on chuckin'
Heck!! My girlfriend tells me I'll have to walk home if I don't put her on some fish. She has skunked me several times..But she also likes bingo so I still get some alone time on the water.
Congratulations on both counts! I hope you two are still fishing together when you're 90!
I always tell my girlfriend that if she doesn't catch anything, she's gotta clean mine (trout or catfish, or maybe bluegill; we don't keep any bass). She has yet to have to do that![]()
Congrats bro...now wait till you both get your first keeper together..Then you can teach him/her to fish and you will see how complete your life will be. My daughter is 17 and she would rather fish with dad than just about anything else, glad we have that relationship...Congrats again
Trophycats, that's where it at! My son is two and a half and caught his first bluegill the other day all by himself. He's tore up about fishing just like his daddy! He already loves looking through the BPShops books and my BASS mags. His bait ID skills are strong.
