I'm Back and ready to fish.....

All you guys thought you had gotten rid of me, didn't you. Last logged in on May 29th from the hospital for a couple of minutes but under LOTS of intraveneous pain medication so could not do much. Spent 7 more glorious days in the hospital over the Memorial Day weekend and then some due to another "Triple Hernia" surgery. At least that is what they told me as I went under the knife Tuesday after Memorial Day but came out of Surgery with a nice 9" incision and a MIS-DIAGNOSED "Triple Hernia" was actually 3 large pockets of fluid that had developed and they looked like hernias. One of them was the size of a grapefruit. Nothing that drain tubes, 9" incision and staples won't cure. All moved back to the BEAUTIFUL state of Ky and will never move away from Central Kentucky again (Good Riddens to the State of Indiana) My wife and mother in law are the women, they packed everything we own (4BR, 2 Bath, Garage Full and then some) loaded it into a 26 foot UHaul - PACKED and 3 pickup trucks, with the help of a couple of guys and moved it all to Georgetown. Then with the help of Chunknwind, my dad and a few of his buddies unloaded everything into the house in Georgetown all the while I am in the hospital. Heck of a job by my wife and her mom (hardest working women I ever saw). We are officially Hilljacks again and no longer Hoosiers, thank God for something.

Time to go fishing and bust a real hernia on a big old Brownfish now. I am going night fishing next week and can't decide to hit Laurel, Dale or Cumberland for a couple of nights. Yeah, I am pushing the envelope a LOT but can't stand it no more. Help a fella out with what lake is hot for some Smallies at night so I can decide on what to do. Planning on fishing 2 nights and have an open back seat for anyone to tag along. Good to be back for I think I was addicted to this site and missed logging in about 4 times a day. Now I have to go back for the last 2-3 weeks and see what I have missed.

Welcome back, if you get the chance to head toward Barren give me a shout. I'm off all summer with my shoulder but still trying to fish some.

Barren could be an opportunity next week as well, but you know me, Smallies come first this time of year while night fishing and I barely know Barren a small amount for some Greenies but not at all for Smallies. Hope you shoulder gets better.

    Welcome back elnut.

I am in education, and off for several weeks in the summer. If you need someone to fill the back seat while you go after those browns, I'd love to. Just let me know...and I can private message you later.

    Welcome home neighbor....

I'm almost done moving myself. I've been riding back to the creek about evrery night looking at a low, dry creek.

Give me a yell this weekend.

You folks in Georgetown hide your baits and fence off your ponds. Welcome back to the commonwealth El, where men are men and women sometimes have more than 2 legs.

Looks like you got plenty of company, but let me know if a seat gets empty. I might drive over and jump in with you if I can.

Welcome back Elnut! Good to hear from you. I don't know about now but had been hearing Dale was on FIRE!!!!! If you have any contacts down there I would give them a buzz as I did not get the specifics but it sounded real good right after the full moon up until a week or so ago. I have not heard anything good or bad since. I would also think Cumberland would be doing well right now. You know how I love the Big C!!!!!

Also, if you are looking for someone to fish with during the week, I would recommend you hook up with jigboy2000. He is a good friend of mine and a good fellar even though he S U C K S eggs because he is off all summer while I am forced to work!!!!

    Talk to ya later.

It is good to give credit to the ladies in our families who are so good in helping out in times of need. It's good to know you are in Georgetown and closer to your favorite fishing holes. It has been a little quite on the board without you. Wish you the best during your healing process.
