New moon observation

I put in a few hours the other night hoping the moon phase would prove meaningful, but the only bites came from a pesky mosquito.
Did anyone else or could anyone else see a difference in the their success thru the new moon phase?

Hitting Dale Hollow Mon-Wed nights which will be 3 days past the New Moon so I will let you know. Plan / Hope? to catch at least 1 good Smallie on the trip but we will see. Even if I get skunked all 3 nights, it will still be a good night on the water for any night on the water is a good night.
