I miss it more and more. I mean to fishin kentucky river to the creeks. to even the ponds down home. I work here at the Ymca in the ozarks and let me tell you the fishing at this lake is awesome however its not back home. I been yankin bass in 15 foot with a zoom catsic worm. one split shot rigged wacky style mabe y this work back home. its not to hot out here an been gettin rain all year. I'm ready to come back home an fish salt river with top water however a boy has to grow sumtime doesen't he. so like already know you guys may complain about fishing and say it hot no rain but guys I know ur still goin to go out there an do it. because i watched all winter and it was around 20 degrees and you just went right threw it. an commandments fish like there shall be no tomorrow. to love all you guys be safe. an dang on it break that largemouth record,.

My friend, we Kentuckians are a tough bunch, but there are some that way tougher than others when it comes to the cold weather fishing during the winter. I have fished Salt River once, but the snakes ran me out that day. You must make your way back and fish the Salt, but bring your snake gun.
