    Sportmans Warehouse

Anybody besides me notice how things are not being restocked in this store? I bought the last pack of a Zoom worm color two weeks ago and they have not restocked yet. That whole wall of plastics and fishing line is over half empty.

I haven't been there but it sounds like another SportsUnlimited/ Jumbo Sports...When the head of each dept has to reorder will it be approved by the big wigs. Or will the money be approved for the shoe dept etc, etc. Just my opinion but if I want tackle I go to a tackle store. If I want shoes I go to a shoe store. Etc Etc...

Yeah that's pretty much how i see it but it's a convienent place to go after going out to eat or after spending money at the Harley shop!! The Hamburg area is becoming an expensive place for me especially when you consider Lowes and Walmart.

    Re: Sportmans Warehouse

they order based on all there stores not just one store, so when one store runs out that does not mean they will be getting them right back in..... and they wont do special orders.... there is a store in lexington that will do order special orders if there is something you are looking for.
Also with all there stock notice how many of the pegs are the exact same bait just in a different location. Got to make it look like they have stocked shelves when much of it is the same ole crap.

Yea I bought the last crankbait they had that I wanted 2 weeks ago and was told store would be restocked weekly. Went back Saturday and still no crankbaits. I have to pass 2 bait stores to get there so I doubt if I will be going back.

Support your local bait and tackle strores. Generally, they work to order what you want best they can.

I can't agree more. I would rather buy from a local shop and go in and see everyone I know and hear the fish tales. The local shops are the one they help the community and sponsor many local tournaments. The least I can do is to help support them.

    Re: Sportmans Warehouse

Lots and lots and lots of empty pegs at SW's..... They won't keep the dedicated outdoorsmen by doing that IMO. Nice looking place but when I am looking for something in particular I am not going to spend a lot of time running over there just to see they do not have it.
