Fished PP for the first time on Saturday, 23 June from 6am until 1pm...what a beautiful lake...not a single house or dock on the lake---just marinas........ fished from the dam up to I guess where it leads into the river.... I didn't have a map but my it's my partner's home lake and he knew it like the back of his hand ---now thats not saying we flew 60mph across the lake, my partner just knew where to gun it and where to idle through several areas...... Just like everyone had previously told me, it is a unforgiving lake that if you don't know where you are going, you'll more than likely lose your lower unit ---how true.... back to fishing, we caught about 20 LM from six inches up to about 18-inches; 3-pounds about the biggest.... caught several LM in the jumps ... - even caught a 4-pound flathead on a crankbait.... fished worms, topwater, crankbaits, and jigs..... had a blast and will probably fish it again but not by myself, not until I've been on it several more times.... had a great trip......... tight lines.....
