Do you all ever use any of these? I know they have shad, crawdad, garlic scents, and so on. I have always done very good without them, but know some people swear buy them. Just wanted some opinions.

Have not used them for bass. I do occasionally use them for stripers if I am throwing a jig. I don't think it does anything to attract the fish. More along the lines of getting them to hold on for a second. Probably more of a factor for soft plastics. As soon as they hit a crank or other hard bait they know its not real.

I tend to dip alot of plastics, so garlic would have to be my most often used. I do have some garlic spray I use when things are tough so I guess I use scents more than I realize. So garlic it is for me!
I use all of the scents. Garlic mostly, but when fish are really feeding on craws or shad i will switch over. I think the biggest deal is just to cover any unatural scent you may put on the bait or in the water such as gas or oil that may get on your hands and transfered over. It just helps the fish hang on a little longer in my opinion.

Used it originally when fishing in weeds and muck since it makes it slick as snot. I really like it for general fishing conditions as well.
