If you want Smallmouth, this time of your you can't go wrong with night fishing North LBL side Kentucky with tubes and Night Spinnerbaits. Duncan, Sugar, Higgins and Smith all offer some really good places to chunk and wind for a few. Focus on deep, main and secondary points plus deeper channel banks. Hook Some Bass Chameleon Craw tubes, texas rigged with 3/8 oz sinker, chartreuse dipped tails and Black Night Spinnerbait with big colorado blade bareley moving across the bottom will produce fish. Keep a good grip on your spinnerbait rod for they have been known to jerk them out of your hand this time of year. Good Luck.
