Rough rough again

We fished Rough 6/26 from 4:30 PM EDT til 10 PM when rain and storms sent us packing. Slow bite on Texas rigged worms. No 15 + inchers, 4 under mostly at dark even with cloud cover early. Did catch a 4# cat on a lizard, quite a fight.

I fished a tournament there sunday and had a rough day also. Caught 8 under 15 and one that went about 6lbs that my partner broke off right beside the boat. Did good on the evolution jigs in watermelon and shakey head roboworm in watermelon with chartruese tail and he caught the biggun on a watermelon red brush hog texas rigged. Headed back this weekend to do a little hybrid fishin. Caught 2 last weekend trolling, one about 5 lbs the other was 3 lbs.

Thanks for the come back on H2Omelon. Back to Rough 6-28 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM EDT when stormed out. Partner had One small bass on purple worm. I had nothing on H2Omelon and Junebug.

Haven't been to Rough in two years, but going soon I got a tourney there on the 7th. Hopefully the vote will change it to a night tourney from a day tourney..... Hoping on the night tourney to avoid the Holiday Crowd......

i pre fished for our tx the weekend bfore at night because it was the only time i could go,it wasn't much better lots of fishin with little catchin,9pm to 5am and had maybe 2 dozen fish.they seem to be roamin with the hybrids and not on structure i saw nice ones in the jumps but just couldn't get em to bite to good sunday.
wasted a lot of time chasing them instead of fishin other places.
