    Cumberland clean start

Since the lake will go down to 630 what is your opinion about the lake in the the time that will come. hopefully the alewives will die. The stripers will be stressed but some will live. the bass will be fine. The lake walleye which will have a tough effort to spawn do not look so good. since we have a population of the native strain walleye to stock in other lakes and the lake will be down for what we are told for 7 years if we now stock the native walleye when the lake fills up will we get that new lake effect that was what we were told that made Abe's fish? They have to swim here to be here, and they did so before there was a dam the sauger will back that up.

Where did you get your info that the lake will go to 630?

There is NO CURRENT INFORMATION that the lake will be taken down to 630.
That is a Fall Back IF the current work is not successful in fixing the dam leak. I have talked to some folks down there and the work is going on 24 / 7 or was until last week when they cut back the work load.. apparently the work has been succesful in slowing the leak.
IF YOU HAVE information that is contrary to this PLEASE call me and let me know or send it to me.
OK, the walleye thing I get.. but before you start this Walleye Campaign PLEASE tell me where you are getting the info on the lake going down another 50 feet.. You will start a panic with even a RUMOR of a drop.. so do not come here without FACTS on this issue.

The figure would be 650 NOT 630 and they will not decide until late fall based on info. about the grout project and how well it is working.
There is even talk of raising the lake to 700/720 based on how well the current grout project is going.

    Lake level

I have no facts, just from reading the local paper about what the local water company should be prepared for. if you have to spend money to be prepared for it, it may well happen,if not then don't spend the money. I did not want to cast a rumor and if some are concerned about that I am sorry but I cannot remove the previous post.

    Mhall

That will be great, where can we go for the corps of engineers forecast for the lake level, It seems that everything is worked out and there should be a place that we can see the lake level for the next 7 years as we have be told that it will take that time to fix the dam. I am sure the dock owners would like to know and then I would look stupid as i have done in the past, really i have looked stupid several times in the past
