You can troll as well at Nolin using a # 5 shad Rap in natural color or a charteruse. But I always seem to catch at least one to 3 of them just throwing a shad rap while fishing for Bass at Nolin. Good Luck and let us know how you do. Might even try a jig head tipped with a minnow out off the points on the main lake or around one of the many bluff walls down deep.
i talked to several folks trolling saturday and sunday at nolin from wax well past bacon creek ramp and it seems the walleye are very slow there, talked to three boats of amish fellas and they didn't catch anything but some white bass.
Trent Colvin, I am also from Greensburg and have been trying for some time to get my father on some walleye. We caught a few while bluegill fishing at C-land last year. We fished Cumberland for the first time last year so we are not very familiar with the lake. I am not asking for any "honey holes" but what part of the lake would be the best place to start? Do you do better at night or during the day. I can't hardly get the old man to fish at night. We went to Dale a few weeks ago at night and caught 20 nice crappie under the lights, but it was not enough to get him to go back. Any info you could give would be greatly appreciated.
call me i am in the book
Don't forget walleye do come to the windy banks on hot windy days if the shad are there. If so, cranks will do well.
