You may have to wait until the dam repairs are done, or at least until they get the water levels/temps situated in the river. Not much striper action there now from what I hear.

If a fellow wanted to try the Cumberland River for Stripers where would be the best place for him to put his boat in? Is there a specific section of the river one should try?

Try the tail race of Cordell Hull for some fast action. Nothing big, 15 lb to 5 lb range, but alot of fun. The " usual" striper bite on the river on the KY side is dead and the Obey/Cumberland conflunence is off also as the water temps are in the mid 70's.
