Some of you may not be aware, but last Monday, Bassmaster writer Tim Tucker was killed in a car accident near his home in Florida. Tim was a very friendly and opinionated person. He would always go out of his way to offer advice to up and coming anglers as well as outdoor writers. He helped me get a couple of pieces published in Bassmasters and also got me a spot on the Classic Press Corps. My favorite thing he ever said to me was at the Classic in 1999 in New Orleans when he told me "Son, I have manuscripts older than you!" I will miss Tim on a personal level and many poeple will miss his writing each month.

Thanks for the kind words Mills, When he spoke, I always tried to pay attention. Here is a link to info about Tim. If you go on the B.A.S.S. web site, there are several stories written about what he meant to the people there.
