Just a thought, The stocks of the native walleye that we are told are being stocked in wood creek might do very well in the river below the dam. if we have a 7 year plan with the current situation the trout will not do well. there will still be alot of baitfish that gets past the turbines or through the sluice gates. The native walleye do not really care about the hot water as they survived it before there was a dam. 1934 was hotter than now and somehow they lived through it. (how could that be) If they were stocked now below the dam there might be a very good fishery for them in a few years like less than 3. And when the dam is fixed and the cool water fishery is restored we could go back to stocking trout and let the native walleye fend for themselves along with the stripers that Tenn socks in Cordell Hull.
