Gar last time I was there and the first time it sucked. My report I posted on here when we got back. Tons of bait but no stripers no hybrids no whites. HOT was for real. Good luck if you go, nice place down there but too far for me to go again.

Headed there later this week. Anyone catching any? The last time I was up there it was really bad, except for the drum. I will report on our next trip. Any help would be appreciated.

Not much going on with the stripers right now, but the big blues are in. Try drifting cut skipjack or shad on a three way swivel rig from the boils all the way to the end of the lock wall. Afternoons are better than mornings. Have been getting some pretty nice ones.
Thanks Smally, I'v never fished for catfish up there but I just might give it a try. The only problem that I have now is the HEAT! I'm just about like when your waiting for spring. Can't wait for fall fishing.
Went last sunday night, alot of blues 10-48 lbs. All were caught off skipjacks. Last weekend also got a 62 lb flathead. The catfish bite is good to great. Water was rough. The bite was the best right before dark until midnight. Going there friday night or saturday look for an old brown fiberglass boat.
