Hey man I wish you never posted that crap about me getting my axx kicked by a South Carolina big bass, cause it did happen and it's all your fault. Not once but twice. I fished the river Sunday with one of the more noted locals. He showed me some stuff and pointed out some key things I need to be doing.

We flipped matted grass all day using 1 3/8 oz tungsten weights and a zoom speed craw. The first fish I stuck was over six (lost that one), then I stuck another one that was at least five (lost that one too). I finally got the hang of it. We weighed in 22 pounds (5 fish). My partner caught most of them but I did help cull a couple of three pounders. I missed big fish by .31 pounds.

Maybe by the time you decide you need to come down here I will have this river figured out.

I cannot wait to get back out there and do some more flippin.

Later,

Charlie
