    Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley

Any success stories as of the last 2 weeks ? If you don't
mind giving some details like approx time of bite and how
deep and what type of structure if any were fish holding
on? Also was it slow presentation or reaction ?

Have not been in 4 weeks....sometimes the fishing reports
look as if they have been re-dated and posted again and
again. Would like to have up-to-date info.

This time of the year the reports will most lilkely be the same for it does not change much at Ky during the summer. Deep ledges with C Rigs and Jigs, topwater early and late back in the bays especially around the grass beds. Dave Stewarts report is updated every Thursday and will be accurate to what he knows and hears around the lake. I would start with that, have not read it, but would bet ledges (better fishing when they are pulling current) are the main bite with the early and late topwater as well. Good Luck.

NO DAVE....Your report is probably the best kept report around. I guess it is wishful on my part that the patterns are changing and noone is "giving it up".
Enut thanks for your input..but you're description is "ditto" for the PAST 7 WEEKS......I hoped to hear a clue that someone found a part of the lake
where the temperature was 60;the clouds were there all day with an 8 hour drizzle of rain and the 4 lbers were at the grassbed edge awaiting a spinnerbait. I know that if there were such a place at kentucky or barkley now that Dave would be the first to post the coordinates.

I don't know about Dave posting the coordinates but do know Dave would have found it by now and pulled all the 4lbers out and was now looking for the BIG fish with a Blue Glimmer or Green Glimmer Hook Some Bass Spinnerbait.

Your description of the drizzle, clouds and temperatures has got me thinking about better times too...lol. Man I am tired of this heat, no rain and no current and high water temps. I am more than ready to change the patterns in my report...am I am sure the fish are too...lol.

    Hey Dave,

With the record heat, it seems the dams would be pulling water for electro power production.

Do those plants just not produce that much electricity or what?

    Thanks,

    Danny

The dams are not generating much because there has been a drought all the way up the rivers this summer and there is no water to send this way. If they pull the water here these lakes would be down to winter pool or worse by now. They are using the fossil fuel plant around the clock below Ky Dam to generate the electricity.

Thanks... I was wondering how that was working.
