It is still on the bottom of the lake and it was two years ago. They aren't gonna stop having that stupid event until they run over a whole family down there. It still amazes me how they allow this on a inland lake. I've seen some very close calls down there on that weekend until I got smart and stayed the hell out of the nuts way. I love Cumberland but between May 1 and about the middle of October they can HAVE IT. Sorry for the rant, lol. Heck I thought of holding a telethon to get money to build a lake in Ohio, I'll donate the first 500 dollars to get it started.

You could be right and I could be wrong. However the scuttlebutt on lakecumberland.com is that it's still down there. Those guys on that site practically live down there and some do, and they are usually right about most major topics. Where that thing sunk at that would have to be a big crane and ALOT of cable, very deep in that location.

If they want to have real fun, modify the format of the poker run, and they can save some money and gas doing it. All participants will have no more that 10 hp, and no bigger boat than 12 feet. They could run all day like they do now, and never get the #$%!@$@#$%!@#%@$# out of Wolfe Creek.
