Thinking about hitting the Big C this Sat. evening, anybody heard anything about how the fish are hitting there lately

big boats are already coming in.
fished today from sun up to 12:30. spent all of the time in the south fork. water temps from 82-84. stained slightly (usual for c land now). 5 short kentucky bass only. not alot of shad in the river noted. no fish hitting top today. overall very uninspiring time in the river from what i have been seeing.
